Bentley Driving Experience: Track Day at Daytona
Forty clients. Three Continental GT Speeds. Four Bentayga Speeds. The 2.5-mile Daytona International Speedway tri-oval. The result was the finest automotive experience Opulent Exotics has ever hosted — and the benchmark against which all future events will be measured.
The Day: Structure and Experience
The Opulent Exotics Bentley Driving Experience at Daytona began at 7:30 AM with a technical briefing covering the circuit layout, the driving modes available on each vehicle, and the instructor team — a group of professional drivers and Bentley factory-trained specialists drawn from the Bentley Motorsport programme. Every client drove in groups of eight, rotating between the Continental GT Speed and the Bentayga Speed across five sessions throughout the day.
The track format used the full Daytona tri-oval combined with the infield road course — a configuration that exposed both the straight-line acceleration capabilities of the GT Speed (0–150 mph on the banking straight) and the cornering dynamics of the Bentayga Speed (through the technical infield chicane sequence). Both vehicles performed without mechanical incident across over 200 combined track laps during the event.
What Clients Said on Track
The consistent reaction among clients who drove the Continental GT Speed at Daytona was surprise — specifically, surprise at how composed the car felt at speeds well above their road experience. The active anti-roll bars, the four-wheel steering, and the carbon-ceramic brakes created a sense of security at 140 mph that even experienced sports car drivers described as unexpected for a vehicle of the Continental GT's size and weight. Multiple clients placed orders for new Continental GT inventory at Opulent Exotics before leaving the circuit.
The Bentayga Speed generated equally strong reactions — the combination of an SUV body with sub-4-second 0–60 acceleration and flat cornering through Daytona's technical infield sections produced moments of genuine disbelief. Several clients who arrived planning to order a Continental GT left with Bentayga Speed factory orders instead.
