Which Exotic Cars Hold Their Value Best?

Depreciation is the single biggest cost of owning an exotic — and it varies enormously. Knowing which cars hold value protects you on both sides of a deal.

Exotics that tend to hold value well

  • Limited-production and special-edition cars, where supply is capped.
  • Mercedes-AMG G63 — persistent demand and long waitlists keep residuals high.
  • Porsche 911 GT cars (GT3, GT3 RS) — strong enthusiast demand and limited allocation.
  • Ferrari special series and the most desirable specs.
  • Low-production Lamborghini variants and manual / naturally aspirated specials.

What drives strong residuals

  • Rarity and production caps.
  • Desirable color and spec combinations.
  • New-car waitlists that push demand to the used market.
  • Condition, originality, and complete documentation.

What this means for you

If you are buying, the right spec of a value-holding model is the smart money. If you are selling one of these cars, it deserves a private, collector-market sale — not a wholesale trade-in. Tell us your car or your target and we will give you a straight read. Call Jhonny Garcia at (305) 922-5380.
